The end of fall sports are coming to a close which means that the winter season for sports at Kennedy is finally starting up. The John F. On May 9, Kevin Lydon and John Byon became new athletic directors. This is their first year being athletic directors after Mcgaughey retired. Athletic directors are in charge of hiring coaches for a team, managing budget, ensuring rules and many more. Lydon has been involved in sports since his high school and college years. On Aug. 15, John F. Kennedy High School’s cheerleaders were invited to perform at the grand opening of the new Angry Chickz located in Fremont at 39338 Paseo Padre Pkwy.
